Brooklyn-based production duo The KickDrums have released “Want My
Blood”, the first single off their highly anticipated new mixtape Follow TheÂ
Leaders due out mid-March. The track features Rockie Fresh, the much buzzed
about 20 year-old Chicago emcee and Australian fuzz-rockers DZ Deathrays.
The KickDrums are known for their unique blending of indie rock, soul and
hip hop, which has led to them becoming a respected band and one of the most in demand
production teams in the hip hop world . Their recent debut album MeetÂ
Your Ghost (Last Gang Records) was a cult favorite in 2011, and their free
festival mixtape series was one of the most downloaded of last year.
