London has been known to produce some of the hottest bands that we have ever known…well get ready to get familiar with another one.

The Boxer Rebellion is a band that has faced the worst of the lows and managed to rise above it all. In 2005, their label Poptones dissembled leaving the band without a label and financing their tours and studio albums by themselves. But The Boxer Rebellion has done remarkably well without a label. They constantly tour the UK and Europe and in 2009 with the release of their 2nd studio album UNION the single “Evacuate” became iTunes’ sinlge of the week. And within 5 days of the release of UNION, its reached #4 on iTunes UK Top 100 Album chart and #2 on the Alternative Chart. UNION then went on to be named Best Alternative Album of 2009 by iTunes.
