Candidates will work directly under mid to senior level managers and must be energetic, professional, organized, multi-taskers and excited to learn more about our growing company. Job Responsibilities
Marketing & PR Intern Responsibilities include:
• Research media and online content partners
• Assist with email marketing initiatives
• Basic admin duties/daily organization/scheduling
• Monitor media for coverage of all things RTV related and maintain digital clip book
• Brainstorm and proactively research new pitch angles and media outlets
Editorial Intern Responsibilities include:
• Research story leads, products, trends, facts on the Internet
• Writing, fact-checking, copyediting, and reviewing editorial submissions and correspondence
• Editorial Interns have the opportunity to acquire short published clips
• Basic admin duties/daily organization/scheduling
Design & Production Intern Responsibilities include:
• Assist art director, programmer and other departments with design and coordination of web campaigns, email blasts, marketing materials, event signage, event creative props, website maintenance etc…
• Basic admin duties/daily organization/scheduling
• Photo filing and maintenance
Intern must be proficient in Photoshop, Dreamweaver, HTML, Flash, and Illustrator. Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously, be motivated and willing to work long hours to meet deadlines, and have good communication skills. Intern will be trained in software, hardware & design skills.
Business Development Intern Responsibilities include:
• Research brands/advertisers to help the bus development team develop the necessary prospect pipeline and close sufficient business within the scope of the RTV brand to meet and exceed personal sales goals as well as assist the company in achieving big-picture monthly and annual sales revenue targets
• Assist with proposals and setting up meetings and phone conversations for the bus dev team to present to potential clients and agencies
• Update sales contact databases and client marketing materials and websites
• Basic admin duties/daily organization/scheduling
Operations Intern Responsibilities include:
• Update business reports and staff updates – reporting into COO
• Basic office admin duties
Audio & Visual:
• Assist in brainstorming sessions
• Assist during on location shooting and production
Required Qualifications
• 1+ years experience in the field you are applying for
• Has a network of contacts within the field or currently aggresively creating a database
• Knows how to build and cultivate relationships with strategic customers
• Strong writing and presentation skills are necessary as is the ability to function in a fast-paced, dynamic office environment
• Strong knowledge of computer systems and social marketing platforms
• Energy, excitement, and teamwork
