After the death of Kurt Cobain, Dave Grohl put together a band and within 3 years of Nirvana departure, The Foo Fighters were a hit with there first single Monkey Wrench off there second album “The Colour and the Shape”. The second single was called “Everlong” which is know to be one 50 greatest rock songs voted by VH1 viewers.
