“Custom-made office chair made with a rare authentic seat from a real Ferrari F360 Challenge car by OMP. The seat features a carbon fiber shell.”
All seats feature smooth black Connolly leather with dark grey stitching and have fully adjustable arm rests, seat height, and tilt.
This carbon fiber shell seat was made for the Ferrari F360 Challenge car by OMP. It was a very rare option to be ordered in leather since most of these cars went straight to the track and were ordered in the nomex fabric version. It is covered in a smooth Connolly black leather, with a ribbed style center seat pad that is removeable in three seperate sections. The entire front and inner sides of the shell are covered in leather with an embossed pranching horse on the headrest. The stitching is a dark grey color. The shell has proper slots for both shoulder, lap and center harnesses. The rear and outer sides are exposed carbonfiber and have been finished in a very high luster automotive quality clearcoat, giving it a very deep and 3D appearance. Your purchase includes a base in the color of your choice. In these pictures, it has been mounted to a custom high metallic silver based on a factory Aston Martin color (more reflective than factory Ferrari silver).
Each chair built is unique, the metal base and frame are actually painted separately for each order with a professional automotive quality paint job in a deep, high gloss metallic paint. Your price includes a custom color of your choice. Match it to your existing car’s paint, a trim color in your office or anything else you desire. We only need a paint sample or paint code to finish your chair. We always have a few metallic silver and metallic black bases in stock for rush orders, for the custom paint there is about a 3 week processing time.
The mechanics of the bases are a Synchro knee-tilter from Global’s Ride collection. They are a full metal base and frame with sculpted sport wheels. The smooth synchronous tilting action maintains constant contact and support for your body in all postures. There are sculpted shift levers at the side of the seat to control the synchro tilt mechanism and seat height. The rotating pivot arms are height adjustable.
The seats come from actual exotic sports cars and racecars. We find late model race conversions and parts cars and acquire the seats from around the world. Once we receive a new seat, it is disassembled, the leather is cleaned and conditioned, the unnecessary hardware is removed and a custom bracket is created to place the seat in the optimal position.
