New Music | Erykah Badu Feat. Lil Wayne and Bilal – Jump in the Air

I have been waiting for this album to come out since 08′. after Ms. Badu released New Amerykah Part One, Ive been just waiting to hear what she had more in store for part two. The album was originally suppose to be released in the summer of 2008 but Badu was still looking to perfectic the album before releasing it, hence in the Art above she has it written 3.30.2010 ad Maybe. Ive been a fan of badu since her debut back in 96′ and have all her albums in the collection, so when she came back 8 years later with New Amerykah, with a new source of sound, some fans where abit lost of her route. i can’t front i was in the beginning to, but if you open your ears, u can still hear and feel the vibe that Badu places before you in her music. On Friday, Erykah Badu had twitter in a frenzy when she revealed that later in the evening she would be unleashing a surprise via her website. The surprise was a teaser clip (that has since been removed) that played her new song “Jump Up In The Air (Stay There)” featuring Lil’ Wayne and Bilal. When a low quality rip of this song hit the net in December, there were rumors that E would release 10 different versions of this track, each featuring a different MC. Who knows if that will still happen, but this version is more than hype enough for me. Erykah’s New Amerykah Part Two: Return of The Ankh will be out March 30th (maybe).
