CLUB ARCADIA LAUNCHES AT VOX POPULI
Sports Luminaries & Boston VIP’s Join To Benefit 826 Charity

(Boston, MA)—Vox Populi hosts the new wave of nightlife entertainment in Boston: Club Arcadia.  Combining his experiences as a DJ, event planner, volunteer, and music industry insider, Scott Shelton is set to launch an exclusive, membership-based, luxury nightlife company in Boston dedicated to benefiting a different community service organization or charity for each event.  His goal is to bring New York quality nightlife to the socialites of Boston, and inspiring them to get involved with great organizations.

A music industry insider, Scott was introduced to Kevin Liles, the Executive Vice President of Warner Music Group, one of the largest music conglomerates in the world, and was offered a job as an assistant A&R consultant, screening demos and providing feedback.  He continued to work for Warner until 2008, when he started to do consulting for the business development team of Sean “Diddy” Combs’ Bad Boy Entertainment Worldwide.  In the spring of 2009, in his junior year as an undergraduate, he was invited as a guest lecturer for the music Industry program at Northeastern University.

The night’s event will see a portion of the proceeds benefiting 826:  826 Boston is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting students ages 6 to 18 with their creative and expository writing skills, and to helping teachers inspire their students to write.
